The average delivery for bridal gowns is 24 weeks. Some may take less, but it is always best to plan for the worst case scenario. As a bride you will need between 2-3 fittings to make sure the dress is perfect, so it is best to leave at least two months for alterations. Due to these two reasons, it is best to order your dress no later that eight months before your wedding. Sooner is always better!
How long does it take to order a bridesmaids gown?
The bridesmaid’s dresses generally take around 12-16 weeks to deliver. There are some designers that will allow rush cuts to be paid to ensure the dress arrives in time if needed in a short period of time. You also need to allow for fitting time, especially if your bridesmaids are planning on loosing some weight! Due to these reasons it is best to order the bridesmaids dresses at least five months before the wedding.
How much of a deposit is needed to order a gown?
We ask that 50% of the total purchase is due in order to order a gown. The remaining 50% is then paid as soon as the dress comes into the shop.
What forms of payment do we accept?
We accept cash, cheques made payable to The Wardrobe LTD, and all major debit/ credit cards excluding American Express.
What do I need at my first alteration fitting?
